Every year it seems that I flip open my calendar to find that it's the end of June and July is quickly creeping up on me! It's so easy to lose track of the days when the sun is out and warm weather is among us and this year was no different. If you're anything like I am then you might have felt like the 4th of July did a sneak attack on you this year!
Besides its quick encounter, 4th of July weekend is always a blast- the smell of hamburgers on the BBQ, water splashing around in the pool and fireworks lighting up the night sky, what better representation of summer than that?
With the fourth sneaking up and my low cooking skills in play, a nice simple dessert sounds like the perfect recipe for a 4th of July BBQ which is where my red, white & blue pudding parfait comes in handy!
